Big Island Surf Forecast

Hilo side: Waves expected to be flat.

Kona side: Surf heights expected to be chest-head high at well exposed breaks, with standouts running slightly overhead in the morning.

South: Surf heights should be in shoulder-head range, with best sets running a bit overhead in standouts.

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
