Big Island Surf Forecast

Hilo side: Surf heights expected to be head high to well overhead, with largest waves early morning.

Kona side: Surf heights expected in ankle-thigh-waist range, with occasional larger sets in some locations.

South: Surf heights expected around 1-2′.

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
