Big Island Surf Forecast

Hilo side: Fresh northwest swell bringing expected surf heights of head high to overhead.

Kona side:  Surf heights are expected to be around ankle-thigh-waist high, while select locations getting occasional larger waves/peaks.

South:  Surf heights expected to be around knee-thigh high.

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
