Mostly sunny skies are expected today. The Kona side should get building clouds in the afternoon as the sea breeze takes hold and possibly isolated showers. Hazy skies are in the forecast (see UHSOEST vog model above). Light and variable winds are forecasted from 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures from 78° to 83°.

Tonight
Mostly clear skies are expected tonight. The windward side is forecasted to get some isolated evening showers and scattered showers after midnight. Variable winds are forecasted from 5 to 15 mph. Low temperatures from 67° to 73° are expected.
Looking Ahead
Dry, hazy weather with light winds is expected to continue. Locally breezy trade winds are expected by Thursday night, with a return of trade winds to the state. Trade wind weather, with showers focused over windward areas, is expected to continue through the rest of the week.
