The Waimea Community Theatre will present two Tom Stoppard one-act comedies, under the direction of Rhodes Simon, Felicity Johnson and David Merrin for two weekends, beginning March 13 at the Parker School Theater.

“After Magritte” and “The Real Inspector Hound” will be performed Friday and Saturday evenings, March 13-14 and March 20-21, at 7 p.m. A matinee showing of the comedies will also take place on Sundays, March 15 and March 22, at 3 p.m.

Stoppard’s “After Magritte” is a comedy about a couple and an inspector who find themselves strangely intertwined, while “The Real Inspector Hound” brings two theatre critics into the play they are very well critiquing.

A special performance will also take place at the Honoka’a People’s Theatre on Saturday, March 28 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m.
