Turtle Talk with Biologist Rachel Silverman

Ka’halu’u Bay Education Center’s next turtle talk with turtle biologist Rachel Silverman will be held on Thursday, March 12 at Kahalu’u Bay’s small pavilion.

Silverman will “talk story” with attendees about the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle, a variety of other turtles found in Hawai’i, the importance to the ecosystem in Hawai’i, threats they face, and what can be done to help protect them.

The talk begins at 11:30 a.m. and lasts an hour. A $10 donation is requested to assist education and conservation programs at Kahalu’u Bay. All attendees will receive a turtle information card.
