Still need plans for Valentine’s Day? Look no further than the Kahilu Theatre, who will present a special Valentine’s Concert, A Tribute to Patsy Cline with Joni Morris, at 5 p.m. on the evening of Feb. 14.

Morris, whose concert at the Kailu Threatre will be her first in Hawai’i, is a renowned country singer with roots in country and gospel. Her Valentine’s Day tribute will be backed by a full Big Island band led by Gary Washburn.

West Coast praise of Morris has been given by the San Francisco Chronicle, Sacramento Bee, and the San Francisco Chronicle, among others.

“A double-barreled voice that can belt, sob. Exult…. We’re transported back into the Golden Years of the late 50’s and early 60’s,” the Sacramento Bee praised.
