Military convoys of Oahu-based service members are scheduled between Kawaihae Harbor and Pohakuloa Training Area for Jan. 8, 10, 12, and 14 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The convoys will travel using Akoni Pule Corridor, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, Waikoloa Road, Mamalahoa Highway, and the Daniel K. Inouye Highway as military police escort them.

Army police, local authorities, and military units are coordinating the activities together, in support of unit training and readiness.

Drivers in the area and along the stated roads are advised to drive with extra caution and be on alert.
