Police Seek Identity of YMCA Burglary Suspect

The Hawai’i Police Department is seeking the identity of an individual wanted in connection to a burglary that occurred in October of last year.
Cash and a fan were removed sometime between the night of Oct. 29 and the morning of Oct. 30 from the YMCA, located on West Lanikaula Street in Hilo. The unknown individual was caught on a surveillance video and the HPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
Anyone who may have information about the incident or the identity of the person involved is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Individuals who wish to remain anonymous can call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
