Arrest Made in June 10 Burglary

Officers with the Hawai’i Police Department arrested a 21-year-old Mountain View man Wednesday in connection to a burglary committed in June.

According to HPD, a Mountain View home was broken into on June 10. During the break-in, a sports-utility vehicle was removed, along with several items from within the house.

During its investigation, police identified the break-in suspect as Johnluke Medeiros.

Medeiros was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft. On Thursday, he was released from police custody after posting $5,250 bail.

Investigation of the stolen SUV continues by detectives.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
