Work furlough inmate Jordan Kaneshiro, 27, failed to return to the Hale Nani Furlough Center after job-seeking Wednesday, according to a release by the State of Hawai’i Public Safety Department.

Kaneshiro left Wednesday morning to go to job interviews and was scheduled to return at 2 p.m.

Terroristic Threatening and abuse of a family member are the two charges Kaneshiro was serving time for. Escape 2 is expected to be added to those charges. His next parole hearing is scheduled for January.

Kaneshiro is classified as community custody, which is the lowest custody level. He is 6’0”, weighs 320 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Individuals who see him are advised to call 911.
