Police Search for Missing Kona Man

The Hawai’i Police Department is searching for a Kailua-Kona man that was reported missing.

David Twigg-Smith, 27, was last seen by his family on Oct. 10 in Kailua-Kona. According to a HPD release, the man has a medical condition that requires medication.

Described as 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, Twiggs-Smith has curly brown hair and brown eyes. It is possible that he may have a beard and is known to frequent beach areas in Kona.

Anyone who may have information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
