Kamuela Crosswalk Work Shouldn’t Close Lanes

Big Island Electrical Service, a contractor with the County of Hawai’i Traffic Division, is scheduled to begin installing foundations for a new crosswalk on Kawaihae Road.

Work by the service company is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Nov. 18 and will continue on through early December.

The new crosswalk will be located on Kawaihae Road, near Longs Drugs in Kamuela.

No lane closures are anticipated during the duration of the installation.
