Fire Hydrant Test Scheduled for Haihai Street

A fire hydrant flow test along Haihai Street by the County of Hawai’i’s Department of Water Supply will affect water supply in surrounding areas on Thursday, Nov. 13.

Consumers that may be affected by the test include residents along Haihai Street between Kino’ole Street and Iwalani Street, including Aloalo Street, Alena Street, Hiluhilu Street, Hau’oli Strret, Kupa’a Street, Nalani Street, Makalani Street, Likeke Street, Kipa Street, Moha Street, Maka Hinu Street, Laula Road, and any side roads.

The affected areas may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.

It is advised that customers refrain from washing clothes and prepare for their drinking water needs.
