Convoy to Travel from Pohakuloa to Kawaihae Friday

A convoy of Oahu-based soldiers will be traveling from Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae Harbor on Oct. 31 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Roadways in use will include Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Mamalahoa Highway, Waikoloa Road, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, and Akoni Pule Corridor.

Military police will be escorting the convoys. The PTA Department of Army police are working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity in support of unit training readiness.

Motorists using these roadways are advised to be alert and to drive with caution.
