Cleanup to Close Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole Park

Hilo’s Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole Park will temporarily close on Saturday, Oct. 18 while community volunteers get together for a cleanup.

The East Hawai’i Rotary Clubs who are responsible for the park’s development will have members perform the cleanup work as part of their continuing efforts to further enhance the park.

The volunteers will clean the coastal park and beach areas.

Normal operating hours will resume on Sunday, Oct. 19.
