Hawai`i County Police Locate Missing Teenager

A Hawai`i Island teenager who had been missing since July has been located.
Hawai`i County Police report 16-year-old Shania Akiona of Kailua-Kona was found unharmed about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
It is not certain as to where she was located, but police say she was by herself at the time.
Akiona’s foster parent reported her missing on July 8.
