Water, Ice Distribution Expanded to Mountain View

County officials this morning announced that the distribution of water and ice will resume at the new Pahoa High School Gym at 10 a.m.
In addition, water and ice will now be distributed at the Mountain View gym, starting at 11 a.m.
The department of water supply is hauling water to Paauilo, Kalapana, and upper Ola`a/Mountain View, due to continued power outages.
As of Aug. 9, HELCO estimated that more than 9,000 customers were still without power.
