One-lane road closures will again be in effect today and Tuesday above Kailua-Kona as tree trimming continues on Palani Road.
The closures on Palani Road are expected between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., and motorists are advised to expect delays.
The latest work involves the stretch between Henry and Konalani streets.
In other Department of Public Works projects in Kona, road shoulders will be paved along Kuakini Highway beginning today as part of the La`aloa Avenue extension.
The work, which is scheduled all week from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., is not expected to cause lane closures.
