Mobile Pet Adoption Event in Kona Saturday

The Hawaii Island Humane Society will hold a Mobile Adoption Event on Saturday, June 28, at the Kealakekua Ranch Center in Captain Cook.

Society officials said there will be a wide variety of adoptable dogs and cats in search of new homes available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Information on responsible pet ownership will be provided throughout the morning.

The society is asking that those who are unable to adopt but willing to help consider contributing to a pet food drive for pets of those in the homeless community.
