Police this morning closed the right-turn lane from Kanoelehua Avenue leading onto Hualani Street to clean up an oil spill.

The spill extended along the turn lane and for several dozen feet down Hualani.

Crews spread absorbent material on the substance which was then picked up by a street sweeper from the state Highways Division.
