Kohala Burger & Taco is sponsoring its first “Putts for Mutts” Miniature Golf Tournament on Friday, June 27, at the Hilton Waikoloa mini golf course.

Proceeds will benefit Hawaii Island Humane Society, said an HIHS release.

The tournament gets under way at 4:30 pm on the hotel’s oceanside putting course with two-player teams and individual registrants. All are welcome. A unique handicapping system will ensure that anyone can win, the release said.

Registration fee for the two-player team is $49 ($59 event day) or $25 ($30 event day) for individuals who will be paired.
