County water service will be turned off along a section of Kaumana Drive Thursday night to allow for a connection to the new Regency Nursing Home.
The outage, which is scheduled from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, will affect the area between Aipuni Street and the Kaumana Drive intersection with Ainako Avenue and Mohouli Street.
Upon the resumption of water service, the waterlines will be flushed and cleaned, during which time customers may notice turbid or discolored water. Air can also become trapped in the pipe but will be released during resumption of use.
