The NAS Swimming Pool in Hilo will close on Monday, March 17, for two weeks of repairs.
The county Department of Parks and Recreation said the closure is needed to replace a leaking seal and worn bearings in the pool’s water-circulation equipment.
The pool located near the old terminal at Hilo International Airport is expected to reopen on Monday, March 31.
