Police have identified remains found earlier this month in an abandoned Puna home as those of Robert Allen Park.
Park, 47, of Puna had been reported missing on Oct. 22, 2012. Police at the time said the man may have been in need of medical attention.
Park’s remains were found Jan. 6 of this year in a house on Pikake Street in the Fern Acres subdivision. They were identified through dental records.
An autopsy to determine the cause of death is pending, but police at this point do not suspect foul play.
