A 21-year-old Hilo man is being sought by police in connection with a burglary on Haihai Street late last month.

Police said their investigation led them to the identification of Kalei Kaaumoana as a suspect in the break-in on the morning of Oct. 30.

Kaaumoana is also wanted for questioning about other burglaries in the Waiakea Uka area.

He is described as 5-foot-5 and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact Det. John Rodrigues at 961-8222 or jrodrigues@co.hawaii.hi.us, or the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
