The Charles “Sparky” Kawamoto pool in Hilo will be closed most of next week for repairs and maintenance.
The shutdown is scheduled from Monday, Oct. 28, to Thursday, Oct. 31.
The county Department of Parks and Recreation said the closure is necessary to allow county workers to replace the pool’s sand-filter covers and make faucet repairs.
