Police today charged an 18-year-old man with burglary for allegedly breaking into a Hilo business early Wednesday.

Officers responding at 1:14 a.m. to an alarm at the Waiakea Center on Maka`ala Street saw a man fleeing from the area and found that the Game Stop store had been entered.

After setting up a perimeter around the area, they arrested Robert Pookela Manaole at 2:20 a.m.

Manaole, who has no permanent address, was charged with burglary and theft. His bail was set at $4,000.
