Following the swim, the youngsters will embark on a a short run. Those taking the shorter course will run a short quarter-mile distance, starting at the pier, while the longer course participants will run to Hale Halawai and back, a distance of approximately .9 miles.

All participants will receive a medal courtesy of Ashworth Awards. Bike Works will provide post-race refreshments and snacks.

At 5:00 p.m., the Dip-N-Dash participants will lead the annual IRONMAN Parade of Nations, kicking off at Kailua Pier. The parade wraps up at Hale Halawai, which also serves as the home to the IRONMAN Village Expo and Souvenir Retail, running through Friday.
