Cast Your Vote for Favorite Green Restaurant

Cast your vote now for Hawaii’s favorite green restaurant.

The Nature Conservancy sponsors the 2013 People’s Choice Nature’s Plate Awards to decide which sustainable, organic or farm-to-table restaurant is the state’s most popular.

Five Hawaii restaurants have been named finalists in the statewide competition: Greens & Vines in Honolulu; Hilo Bay Cafe; Hukilau Lanai Restaurant, Kapaau; Kohala Burger & Taco, Waimea; and Town Restaurant, Honolulu.

Guidelines for judging the nominees included serving sustainable sea food, grass fed and free-range beef, organic produce or other organic food, locally and regionally grown produce, and tap water instead of bottled water. Qualifying restaurants needed to follow any one or all of the guidelines.
