Hilo International Airport’s parking lot will soon have a new entrance and exit.
Actually, the new entrance, which is similar in location to the previous one, is already open.
The biggest change involves the exit, which is being moved from the Puna end of the lot to near its entrance, on the Hilo-town side of the parking area.
According to the state Department of Transportation, the new exit will be open for use by Oct. 8.
