Hawaiian Ohana to Perform at Palace

The mother-son collaboration of Kekuhi Kanahele Keali’ikanaka’ole and Kaumaka’iwa Kanaka’ole will present a unique Hawaiian concert experience at the Palace Theater in Hilo on Sept. 19.
Kanaka’ole, three-time Na Hoku Hanohano winner in Hawaii, has developed into a world music artist with an inventive talent and a magnetic stage presence, while his mother defines what it means to be Hawaiian, said a Palace Theater release.
Other members of their renowned Hawaiian ohana will join them on stage for this performance starting at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $35; $25 for seniors, students and military (with ID); $45 on the day of the event. Call 934-7010.
