Woman Charged in Incident Near Keonepoko School

A 49-year-old Puna woman has been charged with first-degree terroristic threatening in connection with an incident near Keonepoko Elementary School.
Lokelani Lenore Harbrecht-Kalua was being held in lieu of $2,000 bail after being charged with the offense on Friday.
Harbrecht-Kalua was arrested at a home near Keonepoko Thursday morning for allegedly brandishing a firearm and pointing it at the lower Puna school.
The school was briefly put on lockdown during the incident which occurred shortly after 7 a.m. The lockdown was lifted following the suspect’s arrest.
Police said three firearms were seized during an investigation of the incident.
