Wanted Puna Man Arrested During Warrant Sweep

Police have arrested a 32-year-old Puna man sought since early this month on three arrest warrants.
Matthew Keoni Tilfas of Pahoa was arrested Thursday, Aug. 22, during a warrants sweep. He was charged with failure to appear, contempt of court and violating terms of release on bail.
When they announced they were looking for Tilfas, police had noted that he had a variety of identifying tattoos, including one depicting Bugs Bunny on his back.
