Police Searching for Missing Hilo Teen

Hawaiʻi Island police officials are asking for the public’s assistance locating a 16-year-old Hilo boy who has been reported missing.

Police say Jake Miyake-Kamahele was last seen at 9:45 a.m. on July 22 in the Pāhoa area. Miake-Kamahele is described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall. He is estimated to weigh approximately 91 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808)-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300 in Hilo or (808) 329-8181 in Kona.
