Former Kamehameha-Hawai`i football standout Mana Silva has left the Buffalo Bills.
The story was first reported by ESPN.com’s Mike Rodak. A source told him that Silva left the team for non-football matters.
Earlier this week, the Bills released their first training camp depth chart. Silva was listed as a second-string safety for rookie head coach Doug Marrone.
According to the team, Silva was placed on the “exempt/left squad list,” which allows the team to fill his spot on the roster while he is away. Rodak’s source tells him that it is unknown when Silva would return to the team.
Silva could not be reached for comment.
