Hawaii Youth Business Center Offering Marketing Workshops
Hawaii Youth Business Center will offer a four-session workshop in Pahoa next month on “Marketing Your Product — Local to Global.”
Designed to help Big Island business owners gain knowledge on different marketing systems to attract global customers, the workshop will be offered on four consecutive Wednesdays, starting July 10, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m at the Hawaii Youth Business Center in Pahoa’s Woodland Center (in the former KFC location).
Gerardo Delgado, a local marketing consultant, will conduct the workshop.
Cost of the workshop series is $80 per person and includes course materials, as well as a copy of Delgado’s book “Marketing with Aloha – What Every Business Owner Should Know About Advertising.”
A detailed course outline is available on the Hawaii Youth Business Center’s Facebook page.
Participants who pre-pay will receive a 10% discount and the first 10 pre-paid registrants will also receive a 5% discount coupon for the MaukaMakai.me restaurant, located within the Center.
The Hawaii Youth Business Center was formerly known as the Keaau Youth Business Center, but changed its name when the organization moved to Pahoa in March.
In addition to offering workshops to the general public, the Center offers skills training and education to area youth by partnering with local businesses.
