Micronesian Delegation to Hold Meetings in Kona, Hilo

A delegation representing the Federated States of Micronesia will be visiting Kona on Friday and Hilo on Saturday to discuss immigration and other issues with FSM citizens and students.

The delegation from the FSM Consulate General of Hawaii Office will hold the Hilo meeting at 4 p.m. at UCB Room 127 at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.

The purpose of the visit is to reach out to FSM citizens to inform them of developments with their home government and in the US, especially as they pertain to immigration.

Staff members will also be on hand to assist citizens who need to renew or replace FSM passports or get documents notarized. Passport applications and other forms are available at www.fsmembassydc.org.

The delegation will also be visiting Kona on Friday, June 14. Information on that visit will be posted as it becomes available.

The delegation will include Consul General Kandhi A. Elieisar, Foreign Service Officers Robin Fritz and Henry Shrew; and Administrative Officer Angie Saimon.

All FSM students and citizens are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Free parking is available on campus.
