Groundbreaking Friday For Kawaihae Small Boat Harbor Project

A groundbreaking will be held Friday for the first phase of improvements to the Kawaihae South Small Boat Harbor.

The project will include an ADA accessible 435-foot long floating dock, finger pier, moorings, water system, vehicle and trailer parking, restrooms and a boat wash-down area.

The ceremony is scheduled from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The public is invited.
