Orchidland Estates Home Destroyed by Fire

Fire Department Inspectors are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a home in Orchidland Estates Thursday night.
Firefighters found the home on 38th Avenue in flames when they responded to a 5:38 p.m. call to 911.
Damage to the 900-square-foot structure was estimated at $150,000. It was considered a total loss.
The occupant of the home was uninjured.
