Police today identified the man who died in last week’s industrial accident in Puna as a 56-year-old North Carolina resident.
An autopsy conducted Friday determined that Yves Morel of Raleigh died of high voltage electrocution.
Police said the man had been inspecting the energized electrical system for a newly installed water tank when he received the shock.
The accident occurred on April 25 just off Highway 11 near the North Kulani Road intersection in Mountain View.
