Police have located a 22-year-old Volcano man being sought on outstanding warrants and for questioning about burglaries in Hilo.
Kyson Kaleiwahea was taken into custody Monday at the Prince Kuhio Plaza, but not before he attempted to run from officers and slammed into a door at a department store, cracking the glass.
Bail was set at $150,000 for Kaleiwahea following his arrest on three warrants for allegedly violating probation, two involving burglary cases and a third for a drug offense.
He was also arrested for criminal property damage for the alleged damage to the door, but has not yet been charged for that offense.
