Police Seek Identity of Woman in Wallet Theft

Police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman in connection with the theft of a wallet from a shopping cart in the parking lot of the Hilo Target store.

The woman is described as being part-Hawaiian and in her 30s to 40s. She is about 5-foot-5, with black hair, fair complexion and a medium build.

Police said she was seen driving a newer-model silver Toyota 4Runner.

The incident occurred on Dec. 3.

Anyone with information on the woman is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
