Waikoloa Man Charged With Meth Trafficking

A 46-year-old man has been charged with trafficking of methamphetamine following a raid on a Waikoloa home.

Police served a search warrant Friday on the house in the 68-1600 block of Alana Street where they seized 13.5 grams of meth, two handguns, a half-gram of marijuana and various drug-related paraphernalia.

They also seized $8,852 in cash and two flat-screen televisions which police said would be subject to forfeiture.

Three people were arrested including the home’s occupant, Paul Solis Jr., 24-year-old Zerica Bell-Ching of Hawi and 20-year-old Ainjel Mullaley of Waikoloa.

The two women were later released while Solis was charged Saturday with meth trafficking, two counts of promoting a dangerous drug, promoting a detrimental drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and four firearms offenses.

Solis was released from custody Saturday night after posting bail in the amount of $36,750.
