Gov. Abercrombie Guest Speaker at Focus Luncheon

Governor Neil Abercrombie will be the keynote speaker at a focus luncheon sponsored by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 27 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

The event is timed to coincide with the legislative session and the governor will speak on issues pertaining to the Big Island.

Attendees can hear the governor’s priorities and share their legislative concerns. Time permitting, the governor may takes questions from the audience.

A business expo will also be held an hour before and after the luncheon from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

The business expo is free and open to the public.

Tickets for the luncheon are $40 for Chamber and Rotary members, $50 for nonmembers.
