Construction of curb ramps will required the closure of one lane of Panaewa Street at its intersection with Hualalai Street for a 5½-hour period Friday.
The closure, scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., is necessary to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Special off-duty police officers will be onsite to direct traffic.
The project is located about a block away and around the corner from the Kilauea Avenue repaving project.
