Police Seeking Hilo Man in Abuse Case

Police are looking for a 19-year-old Hilo man wanted in connection with a case involving abuse of a household or family member.

Stanley Gonsalves is 5-foot-10 and 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said he may have an injury that requires medical attention.

Gonsalves was last seen in Hawaiian Paradise Park Tuesday shortly after 10 a.m.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Officer Shaine Tavares at 965-2716 or the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who want to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to Caller ID.
