A man whose body was found in a Papaʻaloa ravine a week ago has been identified by police as 31-year-old Yogi Yoswara of San Gabriel, Calif.

Police said an autopsy determined that he died from drowning.

Yoswara had been missing since Dec. 19. Police had issued a missing persons report on the California visitor several days before his body was found.

His body was found Dec. 31 in a stream in the Kapehu Camp Mauka area of Papaʻaloa about 400-450 feet from the road that led to the home where he had been staying while on vacation.
