Police on Tuesday charged a Pahoa man with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a Nanawale Estates man.

Police said bail for the 36-year-old Jason Russell Jump was set at $250,000.

Police said an autopsy showed that the victim, 54-year-old James V. Johns Sr., died of an injury to the brain caused by blunt force trauma.

John’s body was found Sunday in his home by officers responding to a report of a man with a head injury.
