Water Outage Wednesday in Area Off Railroad Avenue

County water service will be temporarily shut off Wednesday morning in an area off Railroad Avenue.

The outage scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. will affect all services on the private road for the Panaewa Industrial Acres subdivision as well as Panaewa House & Farm Lots.

According to the county Department of Water Supply, the outage is needed to install a new waterline connection.

Upon the resumption of water service, the waterlines will be flushed and cleaned, during which time customers may notice turbid or discolored water. Air can also become trapped in the pipe but will be released during resumption of use.
